So I needed to make some edits to a document at work. While I can’t stand carrying my laptop with me every where I go, the iPad is a lot more tolerable. I decided to spend a few minutes looking for an app that would allow me to read a PDF and make doodles, notes, changes, and edits. Since I already own a Bamboo stylus for the iPad, I figured it would be a whole lot easier to do this while sitting next to my son as he watched Tv.

Since my document was nearly 100 pages, the process of editing via paperless makes a whole lot more sense. So, with my bamboo stick in in hand and my iPad in another, I went browsing. After about 10-15 minutes of searching and reading reviews, I ended up purchasing iAnnotate by Branchfire. These guys seem to really know how to make an app because this one works great. I was able to sit through a kids show, without distraction, and marked up the entire document! By the time the credits were rolling, I had the file synchronized with my Dropbox account and fired off an email to my writers!! What an amazing app! What an amazing device. I wish I had this little guy when I was running my architecture firm back in the 90’s. I probably would have saved a few trees!
